On Thursday 19 April we were delighted to host our annual Sports Presentation Evening, an event which saw many girls from Y4 to Y13 at Northampton High celebrated for their contributions to School sport.
We were honoured to be joined by our two guest speakers, Karen Pickering, Commonwealth and World Champion Swimmer, and Jamal Ford-Robinson of the Northampton Saints. Both athletes spoke passionately about their journeys in sport, which left the girls feeling truly inspired. We thank both Karen and Jamal for their attendance.
We were overjoyed to present the Sports Personality award to Ellie Robinson and hear all about her amazing Commonwealth Games experience, as well as seeing her gold medal! The Team of the Year was awarded to the 90cm Equestrian team, who have been fantastic in what was just their first year as a team.
We congratulate all girls who received a well-deserved award, and we hope for continued sporting success as we move into the summer term.
