The school now has an incubator in the classroom with eggs inside, which are expected to hatch within 2-3 days. The Living Eggs incubators are specially designed for classroom hatching. An electronic thermostat ensures accurate temperature control for a high hatch rate. The large viewing windows allow the children to see all stages of hatching to assist their learning.
At the end of the project, the chicks are re-homed into free-range farms.
