Nursery girls had lots of fun learning some Diwali dance moves, dressing up, and watching a DVD all about Diwali. Year 3 girls looked at different spices and their plant origins and made shakers and a garland to use during the story telling of ‘Rama and Sita’. They also had Mendhi patterns on their hands, tried a variety of fruits including lychees and coconut and played pinned the tail on the elephant. Lots of the girls in Junior School also learnt how to create Indian silk paintings and took part in an exciting Indian drumming workshop!
