We were delighted to welcome back our recent leavers, the Class of 2016 to a drinks reception on 11 November before our Awards Evening. It was a wonderful atmosphere as girls were reunited with each other and staff and shared stories of their first weeks of university life.
Headmistress Dr Stringer said a few words about how delighted she was to see the girls back and hear how well they are getting on. She also unveiled a ‘Class of 2016’; bench to go in the courtyard which was kindly donated by the girls and their parents to be enjoyed by future generations at the school.
Afterwards, they attended the Awards Evening along with many current girls and their parents to celebrate the achievements of the students in 2015/2016. Kenneth Tharp OBE, Chief Executive of The Place, the UK’s leading centre for contemporary dance development gave an inspirational speech and presented the prizes.
