Sixth Form girls participate in Physical Education and sport on Thursday afternoons and can experience a wide range of activities. The school's superb facilities include a sports hall, dance studio, fitness suite, astroturf, netball and tennis courts and three grass hockey pitches. Our outstanding 25m swimming pool enables all students to participate recreationally and competitively and is also used to great advantage by local primary schools.

The sporting programme here is very lively. We have strong links with many outside clubs enabling talented individuals to extend their sporting performance and in school, there is a vast array of lunchtime and after school clubs on offer. Our teams enjoy comprehensive fixture lists and continue to build on their successes at local, regional and national competitions while bi-annual ski trips to Europe or the USA, as well as a variety of visits to national and local sporting events are hugely popular.

The school also offers A level Physical Education, which has been very successful with several girls each year continuing their sports studies at university. The older students are encouraged to help coach the younger girls as well as organise competitions snd the Community Sports Leadership Award is available to all girls in the Sixth Form.
