Before and after school

Girls are welcome to arrive at school from 7.45am. Girls in Reception and Year 1 go to the GAP club area where they can have breakfast and chat to their friends or join in with the special activities available to them.

Girls in Year 2 to 6 go to the Dining Hall when they arrive where they can have breakfast, play games and catch up with their friends. Parents are welcome to join girls for breakfast in the dining hall.

There are many extra-curricular activities which take place after school and usually finish by 4.30pm. GAP (Girls at Play) Club takes place every evening until 6.00pm and the girls can participate in a wide range of activities including art and craft, traditional board games, cooking and ball games. Parents can book places in GAP Club in advance and may collect their daughter at any time during the session. Last minute places are generally available and may be booked on the day. A snack is provided at the start of the session. The cost is £9.45 per day or less depending on length of stay.

Late Prep is also available for girls in Years 3 to 6 (7-11 year olds) who wish to do homework. This is supervised by a member of staff, from 3.30 – 4.30pm. and girls may then go on to GAP Club until 6.00pm.
