Notable Alumnae

Caitlin McClatchey - Olympic, World Championship and Commonwealth swimmer, won two gold medals at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Anne Fine - Author and Children's Laureate (Books include Mrs Doubtfire, Goggle-Eyes, Bills New Frock and The Road of Bones).

Baroness Manningham-Buller  - Former Director General of MI5 and life-peer. Only the second woman to head the organisation in its 95-year history.

Sally Kettle - First woman to row the Atlantic Ocean (twice) from East to West 

Jackie Enfield - An Olympic and Commonwealth swimmer (silver medal at Commonwealth Games). 

Baroness Falkender - Harold Wilson's private secretary.

Caroline Oldrey - Television presenter (presented Look East on BBC).

Caroline Bradley - Horserider, gold medal winner in World Championships.

Also, an ex-art teacher at the school:  

K M Peyton - Author of over 70 books including the Flambards series, for which she won the Carnegie Medal for children’s fiction.
